This year was a sensational one for us! We had the pleasure of outfitting several celebrities including Richard Rankin, Luke Combs, JLS, the Hebridean Baker, and Mark Heyes. Additionally, we launched our new exclusive Harris Mist tartan and Tarbert Tweed jacket with a memorable trip to the Hebridean Isle. It’s been another busy year here at the Kings of Kilts. We’ve launched a new tartan, taken our fitting service back to New York City and Toronto and been the go-to kiltmaker to the stars. Most importantly, we’ve seen countless grooms walk into their big day looking and feeling their best. Dream weddings are at the heart of everything we do and we love the opportunity to work with and meet suppliers across the industry. Halloween first started life as the festival of Samhain, which marked the end of summer and the beginning of winter, was celebrated by the ancient Celts in Scotland and other parts of the British Isles over 2,000 years ago.

In 2009 a Scottish Government paper on the Scottish diaspora estimated that the number of people worldwide claiming some level of Scottish ancestry was between 28 and 40 million. This is a significant number of people when you consider the population of Scotland in 2023 is just under 5.5 million.
